Nolan's poetic vision reigns over Brisbane
Two major exhibitions celebrating the work of
Australia's finest twentieth-century artist, Sidney Nolan,
will open in Brisbane in early June.
QUT Art Museum presents Sidney
Nolan: A Poetic Vision from 5 June, complements Sidney
Nolan: A New Retrospective at Queensland Art Gallery from
6 June.
The dual exhibitions befit Nolan's status as
one of the nations most inventive and influential artists,
with the QUT exhibition drawing on prints and paintings from
the private collection of Melbourne art collector Douglas Kagi
as well as featuring some of Nolan's rare self-penned
poems.
Please visit QUT
Art Museum for more.

In Thatcher’s Britain, the grey
